dangerous nights * ; sjh & ksh
the nostalgic feeling of the english country still remained in her heart, it cannot subside that easily as she thought it would. of all the aspects seohyun missed, it was the fact that she knew westminster so well and rarely ever got lost in the city. bloody hell, that is where she grew up in the first place and it would only deem natural to remember the city so vividly (even the usage of a map was unnecessary), but fantasia, this land was beyond "foreign" to her.
it is more than difficult to sleep at night alone at elysian fields. not at the fact that the place was horrid, she actually was fond of its structure and was not pestered by just about anything. plus, the neighbourhood was not shabby. in fact, she barely knew anyone. she was not too close to anyone, the eighteen year old learned to keep a distance and had trust issues. so, of course, things took time.
but still, it did not feel right not knowing anyone and not feeling an ounce of security on certain days kept getting to the best of her. the night was dark, it was about 1 in the morning and she had clocked off her job at fnu. she recently started and was a ta. the university was enormous, it was more than easy to get lost around the place, as if it was a maze to her. she needed to get back home soon, pronto.
"oh bollock-- where is a map when you're in the need of one?" she let out a hazy sigh, still walking around campus to find the exit. after thirty minutes, she found her way out but now, she was stuck at one question -- how the bloody hell do i get back home?
she kept picking up her feet, trying to remember if it was a straight direction or not. straight-- she stopped at the very moment she heard footsteps coming close to her, she turned around and her eyes caught a silhouette.
picking up her phone, she dialled seolhyun's number, "hello, i believe.. i'm being stalked or.. there's a burglar.." she started walking faster and faster.
