All This Time || Team Jones
Lindsay began her journey down the aisle, toward her new future. She instantly made eye contact with Michael. All she could see was him, and she could not hold back a smile. He looked perfect, if not better. All she wanted to was run up to him, but she had to pace herself. She could feel her father holding her back, only making Lindsay laugh to herself. She never looked away from her soon-to-be husband though. The entire room had their eyes glued to her, but Lindsay could only see and feel Michael's. As usual, she could also feel his love.
All she could think about was finally marrying her protector, her prince, and her knight in shining armor. She never stopped imagining their life together after today. Maybe things would not change immediately, but it was still a new beginning. A beginning they held nothing but promise. A future that was fill of endless potential. It was furthering their lives together. Not only was Lindsay joining Michael's family, but she was potentially going to form her own. One day, she was going to have kids with Michael, and they would watch them grow up, together. They would raise a family and watch them eventually start their own. They would grow old together. They were going to spend the rest of their lives as one, and that's all Lindsay could've every wanted.
Finally, she reached the end and stood in front of the alter. Lindsay's smile grew as her father kissed her head and handed her off to her groom. Michael whispered in her ear as they walked onto the alter together, causing her to blush slightly. With her hands in Michael's, they stood together. Soon to be joint, she smiled at him. This moment felt long overdue.
She admired him once again, up-close and taking in every detail. The way his shoulders relaxed. The way his smile was no where near fading. Her favorite thing was the look in his eyes. The look he had as she entered the room. The look he had as he watched her approach. And now, the look he had as they stood hand in hand. Lindsay chuckled to herself as she squeezed his hand, her excitement suddenly growing.
