Too focused on their book, the thief doesn’t notice when a small group of wasps fly right near their face. Feeling one landing and moving on their cheek, though, makes them yelp and fall onto the ground. Of course, the thing gives chase and forgetting all about the fact that even if they couldn’t breathe fire the thing couldn’t hurt them if it tried, the thief runs.
Genos had noticed some kind of problem going on behind him, but he ignored it. This dirt was far too important. He carefully scooped it to pour it into a sample jar for further analysis.

Well, that was rude, Lief would have said so if she had any idea how to. As it is the thief just draws her knees to her chest and frowns. Sticking out her tongue at the dude’s turned back, quickly going back to frowning over the book.
Nearly forgetting the incident as soon as it happened, Genos strolled to the heart of the park, crouching down to inspect the soil. He and Saitama had planned a less-than-hostile takeover of the property to cultivate Saitama’s budding gardening hobby, but Genos wanted to make sure that the soil was adequate for such endeavors.
Lief is sitting on the top of a wall blocking the entrance to a small park, frowning at a 'Japanese for Idiots' book with the cover of a romance novel super-glued on it when the cyborg passes, and well, he's shiny. So they stare. ~thornandmistakes (Eyyy )

Visitors of this park were honest to god nuisances. Genos was attempting to enter the park to scope out gardening spaces when he had to squeeze past some pink-haired brat to get by.
He should have just blown the person’s head in, but he was trying to get into the habit of not killing people each time he was mildly inconvenienced.
lullabies ♡ connor&dawn
Almost 3 in the morning, her eyes glued to the ceiling of the pale room, and the blankets scattered all around her body due to how freezing she happened to be in her aunt's house. Grabbing the white iPhone that was getting squished underneath her pillow, the lit screen made her squint her colored eyes and she texted him 'tell me when ur at my house just so i can let u in since my aunt is sleeping :-)' and then slid her phone back underneath its current position. It's as if her eyes were growing heavier by the second but every time they'd shut it'd be worthless because Dawn would just be turning back and forth, every which way on the bed. Pushing her messy hair out of her face, she flipped onto her side and groaned loudly. Although when talking to Connor she seemed to play her lack of sleep off as just over thinking it was more than that. It was the stress of always having the haunting and devastating thought that her mother died during childbirth. That always seemed to follow her around and would pop up into her mind even at the most random of times. It could make her go from wearing the biggest grin on her face to ultimately forming tears in her eyes and have her heart slow down within a flash. She never really explained her feelings about this or how sometimes she'd even develop nightmares seeing her mom die right in front of her eyes. No one and Dawn truly meant no one knows even about these insanely realistic dreams where she sees her mom talking to her about everything that's going on in her life. At times she'll see her mom sitting at the edge of her bed, talking to her about her feelings for Connor, how she has a girl best friend named Violet, the love for makeup and working at Sompteaux, and everything else you could imagine talking to a mother about. It all seemed so natural and she even has moments where she believes it's real but when her eyes open nobody is there and it's all just a terrible dream that gives her false hopes. Certainly aware that bottling up all your feelings and thoughts is never a good idea especially for someone with Dawn's past but trust isn't a particular strong point for her. So talking to someone about these type of ordeals makes her nervous and kind of a wreck leading her up to holding it all inside and her biggest fear is that one day she's gonna burst it out to someone -- and whom it could be is the worst part.
Tapping her fingers on her stomach, she waited for her phone to make any type of noise indicating that Connor was outside of her home. Honestly she was thankful that he even offered to come over but at the same time a bit full of nerves. The last time she felt the insane desire to cuddle with a guy, kiss him, and just ultimately talk to him was her last crush -- the person whom changed her forever. Her last crush absolutely smashed her heart on the ground considering it was her first ever crush and her last one, until now. Now it seems as if everything has changed and her hidden crush on Connor has grown bigger than how she ever imagined herself to feel towards another person. Everything about him made her blush, giggle, and stutter all at once which scared her considering she'd only known him for awhile as of the night. Already thinking about him maybe changing his mind in the span of only minutes, she frustratingly forced herself to stop thinking so negatively. All she could think about was laying next to him right now and if he didn't come it'd drive her mad. These feelings for him were taking over her being and she didn't know how to feel about that. Getting off the bed with her phone in hand just incase he messaged her or called her while she was venturing into the kitchen to go calm her grumbling stomach. Opening the fridge, she grabbed a water bottle from the bottom of it and closed it shut before grabbing a two bag of chips off the counter and back into her bedroom she tip-toed. Throwing the bags of chips onto her nightstand figuring he might want to eat while he's keeping her company and helping her sleep easier, it was the least she could do if he came for her. Just the fact that he was going to comfort her made her smile no matter how hard she tried not to.
