little talks.
Troian usually loved living in Los Angeles around Christmas time; she liked the 60 degree weather, the fact that she could still wear thin leggings even close to Christmas, and that she could go to the beach at night without risking falling into some frozen patch of water. But right now, as she bounded up the steps of Tyler’s place, Troian was really wishing it was snowing. It was in the fifties and she had on a sweater, a faux fur trimmed jacket, and sweatpants with boots but Troian still wrapped her arms around herself to at least feel like she was in a winter wonderland. Tyler had texted her earlier that day letting her know he was finally back home and Troian loaded up the kids in her car so they could go see him. Of everyone on set, Troian and Tyler talked the least and Troian was determined to not let the fact that they no longer worked together be what kept their friendship from growing. He had been a good listening ear to her lately and he hadn’t seen Phillip and Sophia in a while so Troian figured tonight was as good of a time as any to catch up and hang out.
“Knock on the door,” Troian encouraged Phillip to raise his fist and smiled as Tyler opened the door. Troian held up her bag. “I come bringing cookies and Christmas movies. I thought we could just have a little movie night.” Sweet, simple and relaxed was what Troian needed after the long week she had had. She didn’t plan to take up too much of Tyler’s time tonight, so she had brought the first Santa Clause movie and Elf. Elf was a universal favorite, right? “Can we come in?” She chuckled. “My two year old is slowly starting to weigh as much as me.” @blackburnwtf
