Facade of a salon, inspired from the western world. Ignore the spellings and there is lots to discover in the picture.
Walking down the market lane at Pachgani in Maharashtra, India this shop grabbed our attention. Calling themselves “saloon” as barber shops are known locally, it was filled with things and symbols that were so reminiscent of the times gone by. It felt like a movie scene from the 70s or 80s had just jumped into real life. We waited for a long while for the traffic to clear out so take a picture of this compelling place.
