Okay, this is the first time I'm getting a really good look at the jacket Ryan wore yesterday, and guys, this is modern Pachuco fashion, a nod to the counterculture of the 1930s and 1940s that included the zoot suit. This man is celebrating his Mexican identity in beautiful ways and I love it.

Just learned a little about felix the cat, lowrider, pachuco/zoot suits

I didn't know about this side of felix the cat popularity in LA, or mexican/mexican american community with these parts of what they put the cat in.
