Drew a family of dragons.
another dragon booster oc because i said so. A pack-class mutt
Okay so I was working on a longer answer to your ask about Dragon Booster dragon physiology and I think the site ate my draft, but I think as to whether Pack Class dragons could have fur/proto feathers as long as they don't put the animal at risk of overheating; which I do not know who to calculate given that dragons in Dragon Booster are described as unrealistically heavy for their dimensions (4th paragraph down) which I can only speculate is from the draconium incorporated into their skeletions and the corresponding density of their muscles and connective tissues to keep those metal bones from ripping their bodies apart.
So without researching to get speculation fuel, I see no reason for them to lack feathers as long as they aren't counterproductive to the dragons' health.
Dang, sorry about that.
That is fascinating (and I respect the dragons of Dragon Booster a lot more now for checking in at a whole ten tons when fully grown), but regarding the Pack-Class one more time, given their purely wolf-ish appearance and pack-like thought processes, it would actually now make sense to me if they were from the northern reaches of the planet. Thus fur/proto feather would make a great deal of sense in order to keep them warm in extreme temperatures.
Thanks! This helps me a lot!
