3 Things to keep in mind while do e-commerce packaging.
1. Simple. 2. Clean. 3. Protection.
To get a feel for pre existing products, packaging and the grains themselves, I put together a quick mood board.
instantly, bright colours, textures and patterns are jumping out at me and I hope to explore this as the project continues.
It also is feeling very organic in terms of colour which could also be interesting to explore.

To get some ideas flowing, i looked at past examples of packaging produced from this course. It has already helped me to start thinking about scale, size and design even though they are for different products.
Buy Quality Postal Digital/Electic Scales for weighing and shipping. Extra Heavy Duty @ CHEAP PRICES & FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY By Wellpack Europe.
I get asked about the price and here’s the thing - the boxes are hand assembled, letterpressed onto thick luxurious cotton paper in the style of a cigarette package. The inspo is a young Paul Newman in a white tshirt with a tattoo. The inked out art is done by me and is speaking to the day… to always find something to love in the day. The boxes are meant to be kept and filled with notes or bits of things you loved about a day. The regular price is $80 but for a short while they are on sale for $45 at pourlair.com #stockup #weddinggifts #christmasgifts #decor . . . #packagaing #design #graphicdesign #inspo #inspiration #handlettering #tattoo #streetstyle #homedecor #cottonpaper #neenahpaper #letterpress #candlebox #candlesforcreatives #creativedirector #artdirector #thewhy #postivequotes

Potato problems
Credit to Sainsbury’s
In an effort to prevent some 5.8 million potatoes from being binned in homes across the UK every year, supermarket chain Sainsbury’s has revised its packaging to an opaque design that is hoped to prevent light from reaching the produce, resulting in greening.
Greening occurs through the build-up of solanine, brought about when exposed to too much light, adding bitterness to the humble spud, of which 730,000 tonnes is wasted annually.

The new packaging has already began to see use in select stores for Lady Balfour and King Edward potatoes.
