Packard was a prestigious American car-maker famous for coining the slogan “Ask the Man Who Owns One.” By the 1950s, Packard was in trouble and merged with Studebaker in 1954. The Packard Predictor concept of 1956 was designed by Richard "Dick" Teague as a bold attempt to relaunch the brand. Packard cars were discontinued in 1958, though there have been several attempts to relaunch the brand.
