Kate Bush with her brother Paddy Bush, Lesley Duncan, Phil Lynott, Pete Townshend and several others during the recording of the song "Sing Children Sing" in 1979.
Kate with her mother Hannah and her two brothers, Paddy and John, around 1978.
Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush - Directed by David Garfath
Paddy Bush (born 1952) brother of Kate Bush, fellow musician, music producer, and a maker of musical instruments.
Kate and Paddy.
These mercurial musical figures can achieve the things other players usually can't. I mean, Kate Bush – I shall talk of her, you checked the link first – made the charts with an old song of hers I already discussed in the past thanks to the placement of the tune within a popular TV show. True, this could happen to anyone, yet Mrs. Bush actually got her biggest success with his surprising re-release. However, we should be honest this does seem up to par for Mrs. Bush, whose career doesn't really follow any sort of a template, all these surprises became something of a set of rules for her. Then again, she always fought against what she should've been and she mostly won these battles. That might also be a reason we still wait for her next album.
