Some @welcome-to-ratterrock doodles I did today on my lunch break.
Please go read the comic Bajingo and suzie-guru are creating. It is so good!
long story short: I found myself making a Pinterest board for PadLocke. I think it's going pretty well– 💀🤣🙈
(based on the original characters created by @welcome-to-ratterrock @bajingo @suzie-guru)
Happy Halloween, fellow vermin!
Chapter 3 of Ratterrock comes out soon! In the meantime, enjoy some spooky themed sketches from the cast of Ratterrock!
Padraic Regal about Sage Locke to the left, Sage Locke about Padraic Regal to the right (or so Regal wishes…)
Finally, Padraic Regal about…himself.
We heard a lot about Pad's jealousy, what about mr Locke's?(◕દ◕)
I was absolutely positive that I had written about Locke’s jealousy when Padraic receives flirtatious attention, but to my sincere shock, I hadn’t! This needs to be remedied post haste!
What you need to take into account is the fact that Padraic knows, deep down, that Locke wouldn’t be receptive to people being flirtatious towards him. Locke wouldn’t flirt back unless he wanted something from it, whether it’s information that can be gained, or he has to keep his cover as the character he’s undercover in, or wanting to spite Pads. Otherwise, Locke being genuinely interested? Padraic knows that that isn’t an issue (he hopes).
But for Padraic…Locke doesn’t have that assurance. He knows that on the Rock, Regal is secure enough in his power that he needn’t fear repercussions over being openly gay, whether it’s from the law or from other gangs. When it comes to flirtation and affairs, Padraic is confident, charismatic, handsome, sensual and powerful, all the things Locke considers himself NOT to be. He also has a wealth of experience with men that Locke simply does not.
So when Locke sees evidence of that experience playing out before him, Padraic enjoying and receptive to such attention…?
Ohhhhh, he gets insanely jealous. And insanely bratty.
Could we get some writing based off Padraic making a heart locket cell for Locke?
Ask and ye shall receive.
My Heart Holds You
Padraic had always held the opinion that Sage Locke’s eyes were never lovelier than when he was in the grip of an intense emotion. Obsession, excitement, ecstasy, anger…his handsome little mouse wore extremes well.
And now, oh…the green was ardent with anger, lovely with lividness, stunning with seething. Irate and incomparable. Locke bared his teeth at Padraic liked he would like nothing better than to bite him, and Padraic smiled dotingly in return, his own teeth sharp and smug.
Snarling, Locke curled those clever hands of his into fists and beat at the walls of his lovely new abode with all his might. “LET ME OUT OF HERE, YOU BASTARD!”
“Shan’t,” Padraic retorted fondly. “You brought this on yourself, darling, you know I demand the best from my employees and you simply cannot give me that if you don’t rest—”
