C-3PO and R2-D2 are Anakin and Padmes wedding rings, so it’s cruel that after everything happened 3PO gets his memory wiped while R2 is left in tact. Padmes droid, her love for Anakin, still exists after death. Anakins love is erased after he falls to the dark side.

Parting

I always really enjoy the challenge of using a painting as a basis and drawing your own characters based on it. I've always wanted to try it, and finally the painting and the characters found me. This piece is based on Silvio Allason's "Il bacio" (The Kiss). (These are supposed to be dividing rays, and they merely obstruct passage, but don't burn)
