sorry for the long wait ehehe, the last giant batch of requests for this prompt had me so exhausted i needed a break. anyways though, human au.

15: “ Don’t die on me– Please. ”

yellow could barely comprehend the situation, the blaring lights, the harsh noise of sirens, but the hardest part being remembering padpa’s smile and as if in slow motion collapsing to the floor of their apartment. blinking tightly they came back to the realization of where they were as two nurses held them back from walking with the gurney carrying padpa off to the emergency room.

being gently led by the two nurses they kept quiet at their requests for getting them water or calling anyone. sitting alone in the waiting room, they put their folded hands to their forehead and bowed, staring at the ground.

“don’t die on me- please.” they mumbled to them self, only the buzzing light of the waiting room and the tv in the background was all they listened to.

“YOU DUMBASS!!!” echoed from a hospital room, gaining staff and patients attention despite the door being closed. “i freaked out over you passing out over WHAT???”

padpa felt their sweat drop as they tried to smile nicely. “eheh, uhm, it was over me being dehydrated?” they felt the sharp pain of a fist on their head. “ow!! …better now?”

“no.” yellow pouted looking away. “with all your diseases and stuff i thought it was serious you dummy.” they mumbled still looking a bit peeved as they sat on the red head’s bed. padpa hummed as they pulled an arm around the blonde. “daaww you care for me?~”

“duh.” they stuck their tongue out gaining a chuckle. “well, i guess i should drink more water then huh?”

“if you don’t i’ll force you to drink it.”

“oh so forceful, i like it~.”

yellow chuckled, pushing em back playfully. “shut up haha, i’m supposed to be mad at you.”

“you can never be mad at me~.” yellow rolled their eyes, side hugging padpa. “yeah well don’t tell anyone silly.”

“you’ll have to seal my lips then~.”

yellow smirked playfully, landing a long kiss on the others lips as the hospital went back to it’s natural more quieter nature.
