There's an interesting contrast with Olya where, in terms of her personality and relationships, she's a quirky weirdo who seems like she'd be kinda a screw-up; but considering about her skillset and such, if you think about it it's sorta implied that she's really almost-ridiculously hypercompetent professionally and in stalking and such

Here's something I was just thinking about:-

According to the latest character interview, Dima find Olya's tastes/preferences to be pretty unusual. This seems to make sense; Olya is a huge weirdo after all

But consider; Dima spent his entire childhood locked up in the Facility, with no contact with the outside world. The only possible way he could learn what is and is not a normal preference for a free woman would be, like, maybe overhearing the staff chatting or something. And in his singular month-or-so of freedom, his social circle has comprised primarily of Olya herself and Anya, who is yet another weirdo. This is to say, he has no way to know what normal tastes for a free person are

This raises the question: What the Fuck did Olya say/do to make Dima think "Nope, that can't be a normal person preference"
