"And what if the treasure was the friendships we solidified along the way?" Arthur asked. Lucy pulled a face. "That's the worst treasure in the world. They already were my friends. I want rubies."

“Most people don’t know it, but his talents were such that he could have made his living as a stand-up comedian and impressionist.” - Eartha Kitt
“I was one of the few people who knew what his real ambition was. He secretly wanted to be a baggy pants comedian and was quietly working on a nightclub act.” - Jim Backus

I really liked Princess Garnet’s progression during the events of FFIX. There’s a scene where she asks roguish thief Zidane where her room is when they stop at an inn for the night. Since they’re currently in a small village, Zidane informs her they have to share a room with multiple beds. Garnet’s time in that village was a learning curve for her as she tried to blend in and pretend she’s a regular townsfolk.
Marine is a bit more curt dealing with situations like these, but I want to give him that same sense of progression overtime.
