How do you do question #13 section 5 in practice test 2 (p. 467) in the Blue Book?
They're asking for the average increase in profit here, so the most straightforward way to solve is to find each increase, then average them together.
Store A's profit increased by $1,200Store B's profit increased by $1,350 Store C's profit increased by $2,700
Average increase: (1200 + 1350 + 2700)/3 = 1750
Note that the chart also sums up the yearly numbers for you in the last row, so you COULD just take the increase in the last row and divide by 3. You'd get the same answer.
