hey mike. blue book Test 4. page 601.. no 13. why is there no error in D? I think it should be "will be acceptable". Many of the Sat questions want "will" to be repeated, right?.

Nah, you don’t need to repeat “will” here. You could, but you don’t need to since it’s established earlier in the sentence. Remember: On Error ID questions, you’re not an editor trying to make the sentence sound exactly like you want it to sound for maximum reading pleasure. You’re only the teacher with the red pen. Don’t focus on style, focus on RULES.

Bluebook. Page 601. test 4. question no 17. The book says the sentence is error free. I think "vividly" is better if placed before "describes". Please explain why am I wrong?. Thankyou.

You’re wrong because you’re quibbling over word order, and on the Error ID section, you’re not able to change word order. “Vividly” could be placed before “describes” and it wouldn’t be wrong, but that doesn’t mean it’s not correct as it’s written.

Here’s a test: Could you change the sentence to read the way you want it to by changing one and only one underlined part? In this case, the answer is no, so the change you want to make is not an actual error.
