Examine the dead Mayor. I have a feeling all isn’t as it seems...

You try to get a better look at the Mayor™ hanging above the rickety house.

It looks like it has been beaten with a blunt object and shot several times, the most noticeable bullet hole is directly in the glass dome where the floating brain used to be.

The dome itself is empty and the fluids the Mayor™’s brain had been floating in have coagulated into a crystalline substance that is holding the cracked glass together.

The wheels have almost entirely fallen off and are only holding on by a few frayed wires.

You ask your companions what they notice about the Mayor™

You realize that neither Cal nor Gestalt have seen the Mayor™ so they must have assumed that this was just another robot until you pointed it out.

Gestalt has a point, the Mayor™ you met was shiny and new, and this corpse is coated in quite a lot of rust. Without the brain... you can’t help but wonder if this was simply an old body that the Mayor™ used to inhabit before they transferred to a newer body?

You’d have to assume that as long as their brain is still intact, the Mayor™ could move bodies without issue.

That isn’t a very comforting thought.
