With the fog growing thicker by the moment, you slowly walk over to Cal and Gestalt, making sure you don’t lose sight of them.

You check in with both of them before you try to move on.

Cal is already sweating bullets, and you tell they are close to a full on panic.

You hear something unfamiliar in Gestalt’s voice, a hint of genuine fear? Their voice usually sounds rough like old rusted metal, but it somehow sounds younger, softer and more vulnerable.

From what you know of Cal’s spells, they have a low level [Aura Magic] spell called [Enhanced Senses] that increases their sight, hearing, smell and taste.

While the fog cuts off your vision, Cal should still be able to hear any enemies in the fog. It is a small comfort but it might save you from any deadly ambushes waiting for you up ahead.
