I believe your biggest strength is your committent to the portrayal, or 'to the bit'. You have a lot of strengths, but I'd say this one is the biggest. Committing to Katherine, going deep, rewatching episodes, researching a canon character is truly a rarity in today's Tumblr era. The best part? When you are posting anything about Katherine, I'm reading it. idk how you do it but you pull people in, it's engaging. You will not catch me looking into the fandom of watching the series. But you? Talking about Katherine? mhm, yes honey and then what? WHO? What's happened now?

"It better look cool. Took long enough to make the fuckin' thing," Zanna chuckled.

Roman waves the bright red licorice he's been chewing on in a flailing circle as he leans his elbows on the cheap plastic table that serves as his dining table. He fixes Damien with a serious look for once. A rare thing. But after what happened earlier that night... yeah, it's the time for it.

❝ Insane is maybe a bit of a stretch. Like, totally weird? Yeah, sure. Super fucking concerning? Absolutely. But insane? Ehhh, I've seen insaner. ❞

Okay, so maybe he's still trying to bring some levity to this shit. It's just his default, okay? Roman sees too much heavy stuff on a near-daily basis to not laugh about it. He's pretty damned sure he'd go insane (heh) if he didn't.

❝ Are you like --- hmm. ❞ He pauses, chewing on the end of the licorice to try and work off some of the nerves gnawing at his spine. Brows furrow as he blinks at a spot on the table between them. It's a dent, banged into the surface some months ago during a particularly rowdy game of cards.

He glances back up at Damien, continues; ❝ Are you only telling me this to stop me from prying into shit, or like... is there anything I can actually DO? ❞

"I missed you." Damien to Jihoon

𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗦 ! - jihoon & damien

one thing he knew is that no one had the ability to pull his nose away from a case. damien did. distracting him in all the good ways possible. here, at least for the moment, the young man decided to stay - no rounds needed. setting the folder aside, tossing on the small table near him. it felt nice enjoying a day with someone else.

"i missed you"

those were the words that left damien's lips which garnered his attention immediately, not expecting the sentiment at all. the majority of the time jokes were more of his thing, said to hide what he wanted to hide. this was the impression jihoon got, and he was never going to force the answer from the other. only with time will the young man feel comfortable enough to share - now, he enjoyed every possible moment with damien. there also came a time where he also missed him, adding color, laughter even in his apartment where it's been dull for so long. "i was expected one of your quirky jokes again." he stated with his lips curling into a smile. he's been doing a lot of that since damien came into his life. smiling felt ... nice. moving over to sit next to the other on the couch, plopping himself so close their shoulders touched, pale hands met inked ones. "it's good to know that i'm not alone on that - i'm left with withdrawls. you got me thinking : when will i see you next time? - i reckon, my growing addiction to you will consume me eventually, i think it already has."

Roman's starting to get a sneaking suspicion that Damien and fine together is something of an oxymoron. Between all the snake shit and WHATEVER else he's looped up in, there's not really a whole lot about his existence that strikes Roman as fine. Relative is one thing but Damien's got just about the worst streak of luck Roman thinks he's ever seen.

Roman huffs, but their frustration fades pretty damn quick. Like, Damien's hurt. They can only be obstinate for a little bit before they start to just feel kinda bad.

So after a second his expression shifts to something way softer, supplicating puppy eyes that never fail to get him what he wants (who said he couldn't be a little manipulative in his care?) ❝ Can you let me help you? Please? ❞

Melon is his favorite flavor of sweets and he likes real melons too; all types of melon.

He doesn't admit this to anyone when he is in South Korea, but he isn't a fan of tteokbokki. At all. He almost hates it. He got a deep dislike of it ever since he was a kid.

Lambert enjoys chocolate quite a bit. It's a luxury he doesn't get to enjoy unless he's taken on a job paid by an aristocrat or the wealthy, or he helps himself to someone's goods after they've faced a tragic death.

He is sort of indifferent towards animals, definitely likes them more than people though, and has a surprising soft spot towards donkeys. He likes bees too.

[12 AM] - a pier on the cold, misty waterfront as fireworks are let off.

midnight is transformative, transcendent. neither yesterday nor tomorrow, and not quite today. a place that exists simultaneously in between and altogether removed. nights like these have jiwon feeling lost, suspended in limbo. for weeks, sometimes months, he can keep the anxiety at bay, sealed tight in the narrowest pocket of his lungs. but the unease can only sit for so long before it sours. festering; burgeoning. last time it was nothing, and tonight it feels like everything.

when one feels so forlorn and wistful for a faraway home, the most fitting solution short of purchasing a last-minute plane ticket is to seek out familiar comforts. a hasty home-cooked meal. salt in the air with waves underfoot. grey waters and equally gloomy sand are a far cry from the crystal blue and white of jiwon's hometown, but they'll do for now. he even has a surprise spectacle of light and colour to claim as a consolation prize. when last was it that he'd caught fireworks outside the first day of a new year?

"you think those are legal?" melancholy as he may feel, jiwon can't help laughing. there's an absurdity to the scene: fireworks in the middle of a foggy night, attracting crowds to better vantage points. their gathering at the pier is modest, as can be expected at this time of night. still, jiwon turns to the nearest person and gestures with a shoulder towards the show. arms wrap around a shivering body, with only a well-loved hoodie for shelter from the breeze. "where did they even find fireworks this time of year?"
