Several operating methods of fabric printing that you don't know 2
Printing fabrics are directly printed on white or light-colored fabrics with dyes prepared into the color paste to form patterns. The process is simple, the cost is low, and the application is the most. The usual printing methods include flat screen printing, rotary screen printing, transfer printing, etc.
1. Rotary screen printing
The printing die is a cylindrical nickel-skin screen with a hollow pattern, which is installed above the circulating rubber guide belt in a certain order and can rotate synchronously with the guide belt. During printing, the color paste is input into the net and stored at the bottom of the screen. When the rotary screen rotates with the guide belt, the scraper pressed on the bottom of the screen is relatively scraped with the flower net, and the color paste reaches the surface of the fabric through the pattern on the net.
Rotary screen printing is a continuous process, with high production efficiency, and has the advantages of roller and flat screen printing, but there are certain limitations in pattern fineness and printing color intensity. Remember: rotary screen printing has certain limitations in color selection.
2. Pigment printing
Also known as paint printing, because the pigment is a non-water-soluble coloring substance and has no affinity for fibers, its coloring must be achieved by the coating of polymer compounds (adhesives) that can form films and the adhesion to fibers. Pigment printing can be used for the processing of any fiber textiles, and it is more advantageous in the printing of blended and interwoven fabrics.
3. Zinc printing
The printing method of carving out the pattern of leakage on the zinc plate, covering it on the fabric, and scraping the color paste to obtain the pattern. This method is suitable for printing large flower-shaped or thick fabrics, such as headscarves, towels, etc. Chemical etching processes are now sometimes used instead of hand-engraved designs.
4. Roller printing
The process of printing on the fabric with a copper roller engraved with a concave pattern is also known as copper roller printing. The engraved drum is referred to as the flowerpot. When printing, first stain the surface of the flower tube with color paste, and then use a sharp and flat scraper to scrape off the surface color paste of the unengraved part of the flower tube, so that the color paste remains in the concave pattern. When the fountain is imprinted on the fabric, the color paste is transferred to the fabric to print the pattern. Each flower tube is printed with a color paste. If multiple flower tubes are installed on the printing equipment at the same time, the color pattern can be printed continuously.
5. Digital Printing
Digital printing is printing using digital technology. Digital printing technology is a high-tech product that has gradually formed with the continuous development of computer technology. It integrates machinery, computer, and electronic information technology. It first appeared in the mid-1990s. The emergence and continuous improvement of this technology, has brought a new concept to the textile printing and dyeing industry, and its advanced production principles and methods have brought an unprecedented development opportunity to the textile printing and dyeing industry.
6. Spray printing
A printing method in which the dye liquor is sprayed onto the fabric with a liquid-containing sprayer through a patterned screen mesh or a patterned paper carving. Also known as liquid jet printing. In the 1970s, a spray printing method controlled by an electronic computer program was developed, and various color dyeing liquids were intermittently sprayed from many combined jet ports to form patterns of various colors, which were mainly used for carpet printing.
