My boy Fizzy got some art! (done by the fantastic @lair-of-bees!)
Fizzy is the magician in a traveling circus group, focusing on slight of hand. He’s a bit of a trickster in general, and has sticky fingers, which leads to him getting into more trouble than it’s worth. But being quite the charmer and a long standing fixture in the circus, it’s hard to get rid of him. He and his boyfriend Taffy were some of the first performers to join the group.
The main acts of the Painted Parade, again from left to right. Rav, the acrobat and dancer. Osley, the Marren shapeshifter. Fizzy, the magician, and Taffy, the living soundboard and jack of all trades.
Rav’s natural high energy and flexibility makes her perfect for her role as the star (and really the only) acrobat of the Painted Parade. She has a flair for the dramatic, and often coordinates with the other members to make her performances as show stopping as possible. Rav has a brother living in Sunrise Valley, Pearlcatcher named Vai. When the Parade visits, the two are always together.
Osley is probably the most difficult to work with, as he preforms only on his own terms, though his act is by far the most unique. Able to change forms between that of a Spiral and a Marren, Osley charges an extra fee for his show. He speaks very little of his past and isn’t the easiest to get along with, but has proven to be a valuable asset to the Parade.
Fizzy is the resident magician, preforming card tricks and slight of hand, though he has a habit of keeping what he nabs from folks. He and Taffy have been together since before joining the Parade, and Sigrun jokingly calls them a two for one deal.
As for Taffy, he does what ever is needed for acts, though he and Fizzy often work together to preform magic shows on the side. Despite that, his favorite thing to do is vocal performances, from storytelling to songs that he has learned along his travels. His skills of mimicry exceed that of the average Nocturne and he uses that to add to the level of performances.

Colby runs a four man band consisting of him and three other Fae who play just about anything. He composes in his spare time, though there’s never enough of that. Despite appearing a little drab and dull, he has a love for the unfamiliar and strange, and is always seeking inspiration for his next piece.
Sophie joined the Parade when they passed through the Icefields for the first time. At first, she tended to Dot, who was having a hard time getting accustomed to the climate. But eventually she found a place in the Parade doing props and telling fortunes. Her love for painting helped bring performances to another level. Her and Dot have been in a relationship for almost as long as they have known each other.
Galtero carries the title of performer due to his work being a performance in its self, despite him being stage shy. As long as he is the one commanding the lights and not under them, Galtero is calm and collected. His light shows are dazzling, and he and Colby often work together to create their own pieces for the Parade. Galtero spends most of his free time with Fertik, as they both tend to be more of the ‘strong and silent’ types.
Fertik is the guard when the Parade is on the road, the bouncer during shows, and the muscle in between. Large for even an Imperial, he is the only protection that is really needed. Despite being to carry the entire circus on his back, Fertik is truly a gentle giant at heart and takes no greater pleasure than watching his friends preform.
