Sometimes an illustration brief comes along and you feel very, very lucky.. I was asked to illustrate 17 spot illustrations for the @bravery_mag Frida Kahlo issue. I'm sharing a sneak peek here and I'll be able to share more of the illustrations I created once the issue launches in May. Bravery Magazine is a quarterly print publication run by two incredible women, Ashley and Elyse, who are based in San Francisco. Each issue uses illustration, stories and activities to teach children about a brave woman who forged her own path with courage, conviction and strength. The issue coming up is all about Frida Kahlo's life, the challenges she faced and the life and art she ultimately created. @bravery_mag is currently stocked in America and available to purchase and subscribe to online.
