originally I was planning to cut off the top of this paint swatch from the hardware store, but then i remembered this character by cheychey2808 (on IG) and it seemed absolutely perfect!

Even the ink I used is called violet :D

today's art tip:

I already gave the idea of trying differently colored paper, but a different paper texture can also be fun! This swatch card is a bit shiny and alcohol ink makes beautiful textures on it!
