47. Do they want to project an image of a younger, older, more important person? Does they want to be visible or invisible?

He does try to seem a little bit older than he is, or at least he wants to seem older, but because of habit and personal issues, he tends to seem a little more childish, especially with his mask and scarf, and how he hides behind them for comfort. He wants to be invisible, unnoticed and unimportant, he doesn’t like handling problems, and tends to push people away, because so far everyone close to him has left or died.However as he gets older, he does try to be noticed more, tries to be visible and acts much older, decides he wants to do something that can actually help, and can change the things he’s kinda fucked up.

He tensed a little and straitened his back up, giving a quick nod."I-/it greatly d-displeases me when I hear a-anyone speak so terribly of you m-my king." He said with a small huff."d-do ignore the grey face’s untrue words, th-they’re simply trying to get u-under your skin.."

So, are you saying if you could stop Yuga you would?

"n-no of course no that-.. th-thats absurd-" he said quickly, before lowering his voice to a whisper."y-yes but you c-can’t say things like that i-in the kingdom- at least k-keep it down- I-if he heard any o-of this I-…I don’t want to kn-know what he’d do next-"

“Do not speak of the king that way- unless you h-have a deathwish… h-he has ways of knowing th-these things.”He hissed in a harsh whisper, clenching his fists before quickly looking around in worry, terrified the king would hear this grey face speaking such words."and where do you e-even get off, s-saying such harsh words to s-someone who’s trying to make up for what happened?? D-do you think it’s easy, with so m-many things looming over your head-?" He huffed, glaring at the mage with a deep frown under his scarf."I s-suggest you leave if all y-you’ve got to say is such harsh things…"

But she reconciled for her actions. Maybe others would do the same with you if you set things right too.

He shifted, making sure his king wouldn’t hear what he was saying."You th-think I haven’t been trying?… you can’t just turn a-around and rewind time okay? You don’t kn-know what he’s capable of, with a f-full triforce… I c-can’t just go up to him and t-take it, I can’t e-even say anything out o-of line around him okay-??"He shifted uneasily and pulled his scarf up to further hide himself. "It’s n-not easy, and a-all these… these h-harsh words, this hate… i-it’s not making it any e-easier either-"

“you know what? You don’t kn-know what i had to deal with-" He clenched his fists, glaring from behind his hood."When you h-have nothing, you latch o-onto the hope that y-you won’t always be s-stuck in that state, s-scavenging for food l-like some c-creature from skull wood-!" He yelled a little, at least raising his voice."When you s-see a chance, t-to not just have what you need to survive, but to a-actually live, you’ll grab for it-! you’d claw y-your way through f-fire to have that!”He wrung his hands together and let out a few uneasy sighs, calming himself again."I…- no… y-you don’t have the r-right to say things like that… you don’t know-… don’t know what its like to feel like that.."

How well did you know Hilda after you two met?

"I didn’t get to know her very well, a-actually.. The only r-reason I got to meet the p-princess was because of king Yuga.. It was… all a part of the plan he had…"He shifted a little and let out a sigh, “though… when I m-met her, she was… kind… Th-though I don’t like the th-thought of her now..” He clenched his hands at his sides, balled into fists."b-because every hilda I hear about,. every h-hilda I’ve met while… traveling… has been so…. so loved… E-everyone forgives her f-for siding with yuga- Everyone forgives her for what she did…” He huffed a little, but he forced his annoyance away, this wasn’t the way to act with a… guest.."I-I’m sorry… I went off on a little u-uhm.. rant there… sorry.."

Is there anything you regret?

He paused and looked down to his shoes, toying with his own hands rather than his scarf now. "well… o-of course I have regrets, I have a l-lot of them.." He curled his fingers together and held tight, keeping himself from tearing up and fully crying in front of the mage, no, he kept himself as collected as he could."I’ve… caused some terrible things…. and I-I’ve seen the results of my a-actions… There’s a lot I regret.."
