In #Pakistan, during attacks in the province of #Khyber #Pakhtunkhwa, five #security officials were killed and several more were injured. Today, #Islamic #State #militants detonated an #IED planted at a #military checkpoint in #Bajaur Agency. During the #explosion, one officer was mortally #wounded, the second was #hospitalized in intensive care. The day before, militants of the #Taliban #Tehreek-e Pakistan (#TTP) abducted and shot an Interior Ministry officer and two workers who were building a police station in the North #Waziristan district. In the same place at night, during an #attack, presumably by the TTP, three #servicemen of the Pakistan Armed Forces were killed. The security forces deployed additional forces to the district to search for and eliminate the #attackers.
