Her eyes fluttered closed as his fingers ran lightly down the skin of her neck, her breathing stalled for as many moments as his fingers were touching her. It was a sensual touch, but one without an endgame, just a light brushing of skin on skin. She felt his face tilt closer to hers, felt his breath warming her lips before he spoke, his low, rumbling voice sending shivers down her spine. Breathe, Foxie.

Eyes still closed, she took in a shaky breath, and felt another breath of laughter slip from his lips to hers as he leaned in to kiss her.

“Uh-uh,” she laughed, backing up a pace and lifting a finger to ward him off. “I have work to do,” she warned, “Roan.” Still more warning filled her tone as he stalked slowly toward her with that predator grin she loved to let make her knees buckle.  

Oh do you? He lilted, his smile growing all the more devilish, and she nodded. “I do.” She insisted. 

I don’t think you do. 

She was giggling now, still back up a step to match each of his, but them he lunged for her and she shrieked another laugh as he scooped her into his arms and tossed her over his shoulder. “Pres!” She could barely speak past the giggles, struggling but not really as he carried her back down the little hall.
