Aiden lifted his head from where it was lying on the shoddy camping pillow that he'd brought with him at the unmistakable sound of someone cocking a gun somewhere outside the tent. He rolled sideways, body covering Stiles' and hopefully nudging the girl awake. "When I say move, run," he whispered into her ear. "I'm going to cut a hole in the tent. Ready? Three, two, one, move!" he hissed, claws slicing through the side of the tent and bundling her out of the whole, while straightening himself up, eyes glowing blue and a roar escaping his lips as the first shot was fired, hoping that he was distracting enough that Stiles could get to the safety of the trees.

Aiden was becoming very well acquainted with the toilet, his cheek lay against the cold ceramic of it, coughing and spluttering slightly. He was in no fit state for listening to anything that wasn't happening inside his own body. He lifted his head and coughed, another round of black gunk making its way out of his throat and into the bowl. He didn't even hear the door open behind him, didn't notice Stiles standing there, he was altogether too focused on trying not to cough up his lungs, though it felt like it might be an improvement at the moment.

The vampire smiled up at the young woman, surprised. "Well, hello there, beautiful," He shifted so Stiles could get in with him. Once she was settled in before him, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her against his chest. "Nice of you to join me." He kissed her neck.
