For years i've been sticking to Realms, but recently decided to give Paleoquest and Horizons a try. I'll shamelessly admit i did it partly to make some extra fake money, but i also wanted some of the prizes offered. And, additionally, something to break up the monotony of running around different landscapes for crystals...that're...growing out of the ground for whatever reason. I dunno. Magic. Whatever. In my opinion, both experiences were pretty frustrating to start. Paleoquest is a bunch of trial and error, and i could NOT complete quest 5 of Horizons without the help of a lovely resident by the name of nahanieagle who uploaded a guide to Youtube. Mainly because of that stupid maze part. The rest was, again, either way too easy or just trial and error. It's clear Linden Labs doesn't know how to balance gameplay to be both challenging and fun. Horizons isn't even worth the weekly L payout at a measly 20, when Paleo's is 50.
