When Rosa got the return note she couldn’t help, but laugh a bit at Palkia’s....well...sheltered view of the world. For someone who supposedly kept an eye on the cosmos, he didn’t know much, did he? But the young woman mused that this was also pretty cute about him and set to write back a note explaining things to him.
Dear Palkia,
You are adorable. That is what I think, overall. But if I had to explain it, there is an attractiveness about you that is considered sweet. Like the sparkle of your eyes; they look like actual pearls to me and they’re always reflecting the stars. They’re fun to look at. As for your nose, that’s a personal preference. Girls just like cute things, I suppose.
The term ‘to crush on’ is a modernism denoting a fledgling attraction. Puppy love, you might say. It could lead on to full romantic love, or develop into friendship or even go nowhere. To say that I have a crush on you means that I am attracted to you in a romantic sense. I apologize in advance if I do things that make you uncomfortable as a result until my crush runs its full course, but know that I value a friendship with you more than having my feelings returned.
The flowers are looking real great right now, but I’m sure they’ll be looking better when you get here!
Sincerely,
Rosa
