proathlete!ushiwaka who… has never been a talkative guy. he prefers to listen to you rant about your week and whoever pissed you off at work today simply because he loves listening to your voice.
proathlete!ushiwaka who… makes up for his silence in gestures. he’ll randomly bring home treats or gifts he thinks you’d like or that you’d mentioned to him earlier. you’re almost out of shampoo? consider it replaced! new book in your fav series? it’s already on the shelf! he’s so considerate and loves to help before you even ask.
proathlete!ushiwaka who… is rarely ever free. volleyball is occasionally the only thing on his mind, meaning that you don’t go on very many dates together or even hang out often. but when you both get home late in the night, he snuggles up to you and uses you as his own teddy bear, holding you close to him as if to compensate for your absence.
proathlete!ushiwaka who… has never had eyes on anyone else. even throughout high school, you’ve been the only one on his mind since the day he met you on accident when you ran right into him because you weren’t paying attention. oopsies!
proathlete!ushiwaka who… is very reasonable and doesn’t get jealous ever! at least that’s what you think. in reality he’s just gotten so good at concealing his fury over the years when he notices you smiling with other people! he just doesn’t like the thought of anyone else finding you as pretty as he does!
proathlete!ushiwaka who… can’t go a day without calling you when he’s gone for away games. he says it’s because he likes to know you’re safe—which is true—but he actually just can’t fall asleep without cuddling you so hearing your voice is the next best thing.
proathlete!ushiwaka who… truly loves you, despite all the obstacles in the way of your love. he always keeps his word to be with you whenever he can and makes it up to you when de doesn’t because he’s the perfect boyfriend. ♡
