The Candle in the Cold

History: Palminans arguably had the hardest time during the war. As Amakani was attacked, Mo'i'ana closed their borders, Keykoan was essentially sieged, and Leyfos and Nirvain focused their efforts on keeping the de’lahn out of their lands, trade came to a stand still. No wood, fruits, vegetables, textiles, or other goods came into Palmina from the other cities, leaving them stranded, freezing and starving, at the bottom of the world. Hunters became the most valuable members of society, but the animal population was quickly over-hunted, and hunters could barely support themselves let alone their families or society. Without the Spirit’s magic to warm the streets, water turned to ice and people froze to death in the streets. Many attempted to leave Palmina, but found the world outside the cities borders was just as unforgiving.

Personality: Palmina’s people are hardy and stubborn, and when the world isn’t ending around them, they are amicable and helpful. They are strong and resourceful. Most are decent fighters purely from hunting the beasts of the tundra.

Appearance: Dark hair, light to dark skin, dark hooded eyes to protect from sun on landscape, shorter, stockier, big boned, tattooed faces

General professions: hunters, traders, craftsmen, blacksmiths, tanners
