so my birthday was a couple of days ago and it was pretty rough in the middle of it because i felt really disappointed with the way things turned out, and i was just having like a lil emotional breakdown because even though i wish i’m not, i know i’ll always be one of those people who really wants their birthday to be like really special and feel like people are celebrating them and i just didn’t feel it then??? i was just disappointed, stressed, freaking emotionally exhausted but thankfully, the night did get better, and i managed to pick up my feelings and have a bit of a good time with my friends and family that were able to come to my little celebration, so i just wanted to stop by and say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to these lovely people who actually took the time to message me and make me feel better on my birthday: @sansastarkr @userobiwan @pamelabeesly @kastledevils

i appreciate you all so, so, so, so much. you guys have no idea how much even just a simple kind message meant to me then because i was genuinely so ???? heartbroken and was feeling really discarded and insignificant and stupid and a waste of space and just so, so, so exhausted and i just want you all to know that your words meant so much to me. truly and genuinely. i appreciate you all more than words can ever express. thank you, thank you, thank you!!! ❤️

which best picture movies do u have left to watch and do you have a favorite(s) so far?

i’m watching the father tonight rip because i want to get rid of it!! and i have sound of metal and nomadland left, i was clever enough to keep the best for the end i guess haha

i don’t have a definite ranking yet but here are my thoughts so far:

The Trial of the Chicago 7: It was a great surprise, I thought it would be horrible but i had a good laugh and got educated on what happened during this time. Very Oscar bait though i guess 

Promising Young Woman: I liked it. I know it’s a very controversial movie but I liked it. i don’t think it derserved to be in the Best Picture category or that it even derrved any nomination in general, i thought it was a decent independant movie but not for awards season 

Minari: My favorite so far. I really liked it. Ngl though, I thought Alan Kim and Han Ye‑ri kinda outshined Steven Yeun. He was good but the other characters including the grandma had more room for emotion and range in their acting! Still rooting for Steven even though Chadwick will def get it (RIP legend)

Judas and the Black Messiah: So very good. Daniel and Lakeith’s acting were really the best things from this movie. I’d give my vote for Daniel though if i had to pick

Mank: good lord what a boring movie. i seriously didn’t like it. fincher ily but mindhunter deserved more an oscar nomination from mank even though mindhunter is not a movie and not eligible...
