I had the best time working with this 4th grade class on a Paint the Wind Escape Room! Their collaborative skills and deep understanding of the text were front and center this morning. I was very impressed by how well they worked together to solve the tasks! The winning time was just under 30 minutes. My first post. As an empath I feel a large shift coming. Wether it is from the recent Cubs victory or upcoming election I feel sandwiched between the dark and the light at this moment. I see the micro and macro perspectives. Presently I'm listening to an audio book ECHO by Pam Muniz Ryan, a fictional story based in historical Germany during the Nazi regime. Strangely parallel to our current political climate. Ideals of us vs. them , fear, superiority, suppression, oppression, greed, control, hate. So I keep asking my self why don't we as humans learn from our past? We forget so quickly. The wheel turns. We've been here before. I believe in hope, love and light & freedom. Let these prevail. Let them be.
