Luigi Bazzani's masterpieces. These works may be the best surviving representations of early excavations in Pompeii. The vivid colors of Pompeiian frescoes faded from exposure to the elements and human interaction once unearthed. Bazzani's works are still studied by archaeologists of Pompeii.
