there's a 9 week trades pre-apprenticeship program that I applied and got into

but after weeks of back and forth with work, they wait until today to tell me I can't do a LOA, I have to quit and lose all my bennies

and then I can re-apply to my own job if it was still open

but i can call it a LOA if i want to. cool thanks

LA wedding

also guess i committed some cultural faux paus at the wedding and the rich-mean-sorority-frat-seeming fancy people around were being so so mean about it and like openly saying they had negative opinions

like if you told something to somebody else that you said earlier theyd be like "WE GET IT" you're from chicago/you went to high school with them, "wouldnt want them at my wedding"

"like a vaudeville act for 30 min"

got negative points for 'bothering' (doing a short camcorder bit and talking with) the groom while he was "swimming" i guess

"probably think a wedding is so easy"

even got shushed once during the 'cocktail mingle' hour

that us city folk were too loud to enjoy the nature

my outfit was unacceptable for having spots of white on it (flowery print button up)

when i had too much of this i went and sat in the benches far far away up a hill and looked at the plants around and somebody's 'opinion of 'her' is higher' since i appreciated the scenery

also someone was making fun of how i drank so much water?? and made a joke along the lines of it's because my partner is so good at sex?? like bro what's your damage

and i shut down and clammed up most of the rest of the wedding

the brides brother actually asked if i was okay as we'd met a couple times prior, I said I don't do too well in big crowds/parties and he said I wasn't like that before.... wished me all the best and same to him.

but it was so wonderful to see my friends so trying to brush it off but my little heart felt so broken
