Since a long time I was thinking about writing and talking in English because it’s more universal. At the beginning I decided to blog in French because nobody did that kind of blog about cameras in French and I was a bit shy to speak in English. After 5 years of French blogging, I try to express my opinion here on Tumblr for the first time in English.
At first I would like to apologize about my English level and I hope everybody will understand me.
So, I want to talk about GH4, peoples who know me could tell you how much I love the Panasonic GHx cameras since the GH1. I like the concept of this small hybrid camera you can use directly out of the box for stills or movies without needing any others accessories.
I like it because since GH2 the quality is insane regarding to the price. Since GH3 Panasonic is working with about 15 professionals around the world, photographers and filmmakers to improve the quality and I was very proud to be part of this team.
Uematsu San is running around the world to visit us asking about what we are dreaming about for the next GH camera functionality.
We are also talking about ergonomics, software and more things to improve the quality.
Since the Red One came on this market I dreamed about a very compact camera with huge 4k quality, enough to fill a big cinema screen. GH4 is a challenge camera … I feel like a pioneer when I decided to use more my GH2 than my 5D mkII 4 years ago, it was a challenge and the next step is to have this incredible definition and 4k picture quality in my hands.
Specifications are very impressive and I have to make my own test but I am sure that GH4 is a killer product. There is peaces of my dreams inside !
I hope to have a sample to try it very soon.
