I thought the ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit child-abduction soundtrack’ thing felt familiar…
In “Pan” the pirates abduct the children and take them to Neverland to work as slaves. “Smells Like Teen Spirit” is the song that the pirates sing as they bring in their newest batch of workers.
The version in Black Widow definitely has more of a sad and sinister feel, but I couldn’t help but have a little deja vu when I saw it.
