Pokemon Challenge 2024! #1122 Flatcake.
Flatcake is a Rock type based on New Zealand's Pancake Rocks, a geological formation resembling layers of batter. Flatcake is such a good boy. My wife saw him and immediately declared she would catch it and then hurl it at enemy Pokemon like a frisbee. That might not be her best move since Flatcake is a good foot in diameter, but she is pretty buff. Flatcake has 10 tiny leggies in two rows on its underside, and when it senses danger (or is just feeling shy) it can tuck its legs up and close its eyes under lumps of rock and pretend to be a regular stone.
I got really upset when I lost a bunch of data again a few months ago, including my master list of the fakemon I was planning to draw, and even though I think I managed to remember most of my plans it has taken me a few months to feel up to drawing them again. I probably won't have time to finish this project this year which makes me feel a little sad and disappointed in myself, but I'm going to have a good go at getting as many done as I can in the next two months.
