Panda Bros - Shining Shining
Funny people but nice mv + song
fig reblarg blarg: thunder distant
thunder distant
(or How The Vale Didn’t Get Wrecked. bisho's and my headcanon because reasons. panda bros!)
Spring was eternal here, and spring meant storms. The peachy-rose blush of dawn was vanishing behind dark clouds; another thunderhead came grumbling and grumping its way over the mountains in a way that put Lorewalker Cho in mind of the figure beside him. Monk though he was, and disciplined as any of his order, Sifu Taran Zhu was nowhere near a morning person.
My best friend and I made a podcast together! It's kind of like a morning/late night talk show. We talk about a variety of things and eventually we'll have guests to talk about stuff with them! HOORAY!
In our first episode we talk about art school, teacher crushes, football, and why chokeslamming people makes life better. spread the love! We're going to make new episodes every Weds! (And we're going to adjust Kris Mic so you can hear him better).
Enjoy!

"That had no business going as well as it did," he murmured into his tea. "Considering what we've got, there."
"I was thinking the same," Cho said, marking the way the arcane warding about the excavation site thrummed with energy, pushing back against the influence of the artifact within. The wards were sound, he knew it--Lady Proudmoore, Archmage Lan'daloc and Magistrix Kirendil knew their way around spellweaving, and not a bit of poison energy would make it past the shield.
The shamans were approaching again; Thrall had bade them fall back so they didn't get caught up in the shield. Zhu snorted softly, and Cho followed his gaze. Ah, that was the source of his amusement. Behind Thrall crept the young Warlord Hellscream, both axes at the ready, eyeing the warding with suspicion. While he was ready and willing to defend his Warchief, he continually glanced about at the grass and trees around him.
"I wouldn't have expected that loudmouthed, oversized cub to set foot anywhere near this place," Zhu said. "Not after being attacked by saplings."
"I doubt sha-trees are a normal thing for him."
Lightning crawled across the underside of the clouds overhead, and it began to rain.
The shamans would harness the lightning soon, doubly sealing the power of the artifact. Then the paladins would come--they stood by as well. Already two readied their weapons and arts--a tall and flaxen-haired blood elf whose green-gold eyes were narrowed and watchful, and a dark-skinned, sandy-haired human woman who shifted restlessly from foot to foot.
"I should have realized that if it was dead," Zhu murmured, "there might be a body."
"Why?"
"Because." Zhu crinkled his nose. "Because even ghosts leave traces behind."
"But a ghost is more or less normal. This is the opposite of normal."
"Are you being difficult on purpose?"
"Possibly, with the ulterior motive of preventing you worrying yourself into indigestion again."
"Are all scholars as nosy as you, or are you unique in that respect?" Zhu sighed, and let Cho rest a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm told I'm especially bad."
Zhu didn't reply. He simply stood enjoying his tea and the company. He watched the elven paladin stride forward, and a bit of the tension left this shoulders.
They stayed like that a while. Then Zhu spoke again, tugging the brim of his hat down first in a vain attempt to hide a grin. "So, Cho..."
Here it comes, Cho thought. He hasn't slept at all and now he's in one of these moods. "Yes?"
"What sort of...physical anatomy do you think that thing is? A toe, maybe?"
Cho grimaced. "A toe!? Oh, come on, now."
"Aren't you curious?"
"I--yes, but--" Cho spluttered and started to chortle.
"Maybe it's an ear. Or a chin. Or a navel. The disembodied, petrified, abandoned navel of the dread seven-headed nightmare, Y'shaarj."
Cho rolled his eyes. "All right, this is ridiculous even for you. How little sleep did you get?"
"An hour or so. ...Hmm. No, I don't think it's a navel after all. I think it's a nostril."
"Go back to the camp and sleep, already."
