2025 Wrap Up: Games
I had a very good gaming year! Here's a selection of my faves:
Bramble the Mountain King (horror game based on nordic folklore)
Ghost of a Tale (medieval mouse sneaking around)
Cult of the Lamb (what if the lamb escaped the slaughter and ran its own cult?)
And my absolute favorites:
Blue Prince (the house is a puzzle and you will want to find all its secrets)
And Kingdom Come Deliverance 1&2 (medieval peasant becomes a gay knight)
It was a very good gaming year at least 🥰

Ghost of a tale came out a few years ago but as usual I'm super late to the party 😅
Anyway this is where most of my weekend went, I had so much fun! It is mostly exploration, with a bit of infiltration and combat. Lots of colorful characters and a nice plot, but what really made it for me was how adorable the protagonist is at all time lol (jk I am a sucker for exploration and games that reward looking at every little corner)
Can't believe they remade flappy bird in Chants of Sennaar
Im at 12 hours of Veilguard so here's my first thoughts:
Picking a romance is gonna be hell, I only met Lucanis, Neve, Bellara, and Harding, but i love them all
People worried about the game not being dark enough really had nothing to fear holy shit hahaha
I love that the map actually let's me know which of these beautiful environments are not gonna be climbable, I hated Inquisition's map
I really enjoy the combat system and the companions combos!
I enjoy being able to explore but I have a slight frustration with zones being blocked with no clear indication of when they'll unlock. It feels a bit too much like a corridor so far.
There's so much magic. It's beautiful and really cool but tbh it does not really match what I expected from a DA game
I wish there was more dialogue when giving companions a gift? That feels underwhelming so far
I really love my rook, super happy that I had both the options to make them non binary and to have their nose close to DA2 elves
