No. I'm not going to use the read more button on long posts unless I feel like it. Why? Because, in my experience, it kills post engagement. It does. No one is curious anymore. People do not care to click the button and READ MORE.
Also. In the context of what I saw the "pleading" for people to use the read more button? Buddy, you're on the wrong fucking site to be asking writers/theorists/etc to shorten their posts. This is a blog site. You have tools on how to avoid that. Tumblr Staff themselves gave you a free-turn-it-off-manually option to avoid it even! If you are not blocking blogs, tags, or using the free-turn-it-off-manually option, that's on you.
