Hey! I read your Destiel argument, and I think your point is absolutely beautiful, and you hit the nail perfectly on the head. That other person needs to understand that for something to be real, the couple doesn't have to talk about it nonstop or even kiss (I think Dean saying he needs Cas was enough; I mean, Dean no-chick-flick-moments Winchester doesn't say that to just anyone)... Then when he said "Every other godforsaken thing I care about." that just topped it for me. Anyhow, *end rant*

Thanks! Yes, for me... I have known Castiel was in love with Dean since mid-season 5. However for a while I was unsure that Dean was in love with Castiel. It was obvious Dean cared about Cas a LOT, but I didn't know if he actually loved him romantically. And then... it was several things in combination that convinced me, Dean's devastation over Castiel in 'Man Who Would Be King', Dean carrying Cas' trenchcoat for a year, Dean saying a part of him always believed Cas would come back/he never stopped wanting to fix it, Dean saying "I need you" The fact that he refused to leave purgatory (and go back to SAM) unless he had Cas with him...And the last straw; Dean's mind creating false memories after losing Cas, because he couldn't cope....  That is some epic love. I am 1000% sure this is a canon romance, from both sides.
