Just wondering do you have any opinions on todosero?

CUTE! Not sure if I’ll ever get around to drawing them, but I’ve got a few ideas I guess:

I think during their fight at the sports festival, Todoroki was actually caught off guard (for like 0.0002 seconds cause he’s quick to recover) when Sero wrapped him and attempted to toss him out of bounds but just that fraction of a moment made Todo’s admiration and respect for Sero to grow tenfold, the fact that this guy smiled in the face of his anger like got dam

And the fact that Sero was so strategic. He knew he had to act fast, the exact fucking moment Present Mic called start, he carried out his plan.

He didn’t just wrap Todoroki’s torso to tug at him, he also wrapped his legs in an attempt to immobilize him, or at least keep him from planting his feet firmly, keep him off the ground so he didn’t have a place to spread his ice (if he had also wrapped his ankles this might have given him even the slightest more of an edge to win). And realizing this all happened within a second or two, Sero knew who he was up against and took as much as he could into consideration.

They’re both relatively long range fighters, they both have reach, neither would have had to get close to fight each other, and Sero very much knew the extent of Todoroki’s power. He knew Todoroki refused to use his fire (wouldn’t burn through his tape the moment he wrapped him). So his best course of action was to throw him out of bounds and he needed to do this as fast as he possibly could because Todo could activate his quirk in an instant.

While this plan failed, you have to admit how fucking strategic this boy was thinking, even if the chances of him winning were low, Sero still did the best he could to win. And I appreciate that Todoroki took the fight seriously and I’m sure Sero did as well.

And just the fact that Todoroki knew his anger got the better of him, when he went to go melt poor Sero from his ice, he almost sounded a bit embarrassed at himself, in the English version especially. And I’m just blown away, even half frozen, Sero was able to keep a level head, shaken, but still as calm as he could be. Every single person in that arena was taken aback by the sheer power from Todoroki, AIZAWA was blown the fuck away, and yet Sero seemed to know his fate and I really fucking hope Todo was talking to him when the camera panned here

I made myself cry, I wasn’t expecting to write all this but there you go 💦💦💦 I’m very certain that their respect for each other went through the roof that day. And even if he lost, you can tell just how clever Sero is, and also how vulnerable Todoroki is to his emotions.

A few other points outside of this, they seem to have similar tastes:

Sero seems almost envious adjh 💨 They both have this organic, traditional style, just something I noticed, they seem to be the only two with plants in their room, I’m sure they’d both bond over nature, some peace every once in a while and ohhhhhh I’m sure over food as well oh jeez 😻

….also how gently Todoroki touched Sero’s chest to melt him, made me melt too excuse me

Not too sure what else to say, anyone can add to this if they want to, this is just a few points that I’ve had saved up for a while, thank you for reading!

HOW DID SERO AND BAKU MEET IN THIA AU???

it was really bloody 💦

By nature Bakugou is mischievous and cunning, and as an outlet, he steals….. shiny, expensive things. Sero is one of many guards of a forest…… a particularly mystical forest filled with tons of treasures and ancient artifacts that one would pay a hefty price for. That being said, when Bakugou heard about this forest, his first instinct was to go find it an loot it because he has a fucking problem omg

Sero just so happened to be the guard to catch him trying to sneak in and loot the place. These guards aren’t sworn to be pacifists, but if they can avoid a fight that will lead to blood being spilled on sacred forest ground, they will. Unfortunately the moment Bakugou felt cornered, even after Sero gave him the chance to leave peacefully, he was already lunging and clawing, but Sero is STRONG, his tail is pure muscle, there’s a very low chance of escaping his grasp if that gets around you

When Sero was able to immobilize him and try and talk some sense into him, Bakugou was already panicking. He’s used to coming out on top of every fight he encounters and even when he got a good few shots in, he still felt completely helpless and frustrated when he was coiled. And in a very Bakugou like fashion, that rage and frustration boiled over and the tears came

And Sero could literally feel the full feral, animalistic fear that Bakugou exhibited, he could feel the quake and writhing from him trying to get away, because any tighter and he knows that he could very well squeeze the life out of someone, very easily, and it was apparent that Bakugou knew it too. 

Because of the force of that emotion, Sero let Bakugou go, telling him to never come back and Baku was out of there in a heartbeat……..

And he was back two days later, willingly seeking out Sero to challenge him oh my god. Like the whole thing went from bloody to playful. When Sero wouldn’t accept his challenge, Baku would just sit two feet away from the edge of the forest, be a brat and stick his tongue out at Sero because “I’m technically not in the forest, I can be here all I want”

Soon Bakugou was nesting at the edge of the forest, just watching Sero and Sero would watch him, Sero saw it as keeping him out of trouble, which really was the truth, Bakugou was INVESTED with defeating Sero and getting into the forest at least once, but he was never given the chance omg, soon enough Sero was finding all these mannerisms super fucking cute and funny

So yes, the more time went on, the fonder he became, and Bakugou inadvertently felt the same, the thrill that Sero was able to give him was like nothing he ever felt before and he was enamored. When Sero was relieved of his duties for the day, he’d let Bakugou follow him, they’d go on little adventures together because Bakugou would get them in trouble more often than not adkjf

It’s a slow burn kind of thing. The more comfortable they got with each other, the more physical and affectionate, the harder they fell for each other. Sero wakes up finding Bakugou stroking the scars across his chest that he gave him and Sero kisses away any tears before they can fall from scarlet eyes

…yah!

i’m having trouble drawing denki, any tips??

helllo, sweet anon!! I haven’t drawn Denki all that much, but I can definitely give you some help like I did for the Sero anon!!

So to start off again, you absolutely have every right to choose how you want to draw a certain character, whether you deviate from their reference, have certain preferences with certain aspects of their design or want to just stick to the original! So here we goooo!

FACE WISE 

The best and only way for me to describe Kaminari Denki’s face… is literally fucking beautiful. Who’s the fairest in all the land??? DENKI, there is no fucking question. He has very androgynous features, not all too masculine, not too feminine. 

He’s got these cat eyes. Not only in terms of the sharp pupils and small irises he’s usually depicted with, but the literal shape of his eyes, he could totally fucking rock winged eyeliner, he’s already got thick eyelashes that come to a pretty point at the edge of his eye 

He’s got kinda a baby face, he looks so friendly, even when he’s snarling, he still looks approachable. 

I need to redo him again Aged Up, knowing him a little better and seeing his features, his face shape probably wouldn’t change. He’d have very soft bone structure, wouldn’t have the sharp chiseled features I have Kiri or Tetsu

BODY WISE 

Denki is one of the smaller of the boys and (unlike Sero’s) his body type is fairly consistent between anime ref vs anime vs manga. He’s not overly muscular or really has anything outstanding (probably cause we haven’t seen him in anything form fitting). 

He’s not lanky, and while he probably isn’t building his body the way Kiri or Bakugou are doing (Kiri for comparison), it doesn’t mean he’s not fit! Here’s a little gif, he’s got a soft tummy, flat but not defined (yet!!) again, it’s all up to you how you’re working with him. Whether he’s aged up or still young! His body is what it should be at his age!

He relies on his quirk, rather than hand to hand combat, he doesn’t need brute strength the way some of his peers do in order to work their quirks correctly. 

last but not least.......... HAIR WISE

......good fucking luck, like I honestly can’t help you, I still have so much trouble, that’s what throws me off with him, even Horikoshi just

[makes “i don’t know” sound] it just goes all these different angles, gets me confused akdjf, amazing work to the artists that can get it down /////!! I’m sure they can explain it better than I do

hello!!! I’d love to see more of ur Dog!au or your Mythical!Au but like,,, real quick,,, consider one between this two bc I’m a sucker dhdj: mermaids au or an au where Bakugou is a werewolf and Sero is a vampire. You’re super awesome!! Ily!!

awww yay!! I’d love to do more of the Dog!AU, focusing on the Myth!AU for now, gonna be workin more with it! 

But omg!!! Oh jeeeez, both of those sound so cute! 😻 I really love mermaid aus……. but like the specific kind where there’s still legs (with funk lil webbed feeties of course), just for convenience purposes, cause sometimes you wanna make a character do something but they CAN’T CAUSE NO LEGS AKJDSFH, I’ve worked with my hubby @ramblingcoyote 💙 on a mermaid/shark au between Miles and Tommy! So yeah, something like this is my ideal mermaid au oop 💦

but goddddddd the werewolf/vampire!au would be so cool too, especially with the whole sworn enemies thing, I think that’s one of the things that got me with the myth!au //////!! …..imagine Baku as a fucking blonde werewolf tho don’t fucking talk to me about that pffff asdjh 💦💦💦

…..CUTE!!!! CUTE CUTE CUTE OMGGG <33333 So I discussed Kirishima in this au with hubby!

Kiri is an Oni, once a part of nomadic tribe that he got separated from when he was just a baby 💔 The magical forest that Sero and others would soon guard when they got older took him in, the forest itself is a life giver, those who live in it rely heavily upon it’s protection and the forest is protective of all the life it holds and will hold, even an orphan Oni, a creature meant to be feared and by nature be aggressive.

So in this AU, Kirishima met both Kaminari and Sero when they were all just tiny bitty babies 😻 Again, Kaminari is a raiju (simply a lightning wolf) and Sero is a naga. There are many villages inside the forest, it’s HUGE and Kiri just so happened to find home with them and those who adopt him. They’d play together and grew up to be best friends!

So because Kiri wasn’t raised by Oni, he didn’t “act” like one, he still grew up to be a BIG BOY LIKE WOW, but he is so gentle and kind and manly and brave, he’s wonderful ❤ 

At one point when they all were old enough, they all became guards, Sero and Kami stayed as guards, but Kiri’s instincts as an Oni are still honed in him, and because of that, because of his strength to fend for himself, because of his nomadic instinct, and his intimidating posture (to which only fools would dare challenge), he became something akin to a messenger or traveler meant to help those in need and bring them back to the forest for guidance.

He’ll always come back, and he ALWAYS brings treasures and offerings to give to the forest because he’s still and will forever be grateful for it saving him. ❤

but ohhhh jeeez getting back to your question, that is so cute aldjkfh //////!! During that time that Bakugou met Sero and was still being a little brat was probably also the time that Kiri came back from his travels and I’m imagining Bakugou puffing up all his tails and growling when he notices Kirishima get close to the entrance, thinking that he’s gonna pick a fight with Sero to gain entrance……..

AND BAKU IS SO MAD WHEN KIRI JUST BARRELS OVER TO SERO AND LIFTS HIM UP IN HIS HUGE BEAR HUG AND HE’S SO JEALOUS WHEN SERO LETS OUT THIS HUGE LAUGH AND WRAPS HIS ENTIRE BODY AND TAIL AROUND KIRI CAUSE HE’S SO HAPPY HE’S BACK

And Kiri just slowly turning to this ball of fluff and fire and Sero just “He won’t leave me alone, I’m just gonna keep him out of trouble.” and Kiri “…..cute ♥” AND BAKUGOU GET’S SO FLUSTERED, HE’S READY TO FITE, but Sero’s already let Kiri in

and hubby imagined Bakugou latching onto Kiri’s big back trying to sneak his way inside but Sero just plucks him right off and Kiri just ??? ajdksfha

mmmmm for dramatics I’m sure it will, he did have a reputation wherever he traveled, and even if he’s proved his worth and in the end would become a guard of the forest, he’d still have demons and things that can potentially lead some to doubt their faith and trust in him 💦

I don’t have a story or and example I can give you of a scenario like that, but y’all are welcome to send some if you’d like??

I’ve been trying to draw Sero for a while and having a tuff time , do you have any tips on how to draw him

awwh!!! of course, I’ll try and help as best I can!! <333

So to start off, one difficult thing about trying to find references for Sero is that the anime ref sheets vs anime vs manga are pretty different in their representation:

So you kinda have to do some thinking for yourself, how would you like to depict Sero? Because at one point, he’s this amazingly fit, thick legged, hard chested hunk of a man. The next he’s tall and thin, lanky teenager still growing into his own body.

Because I’m working with him when he’s older, I represented him with a body that fit his age, so you can tell:

which is the still growing boy, and which is the man?? 💪💪💪 So again, it your choice depending on how you decide you want to draw him which best fits your idea of him, but I’ll start with the basics to help you along! You still want to make sure it looks like Sero, while still appealing to your style or aesthetics!

FACE WISE

Sero can be very easily recognized if you pay tribute to that handsome toothy smile or diamond shaped eyes!! They are what give him this charm, I for one don’t think he looks plain at all, he has a very unique design!

Even when he’s not grinning, the shape of his eyes are very unique to his character! Also (I kinda deviated from this little detail TAT) his hair is supposed to resemble the end of a piece of tape cut from the serrated edge of a dispenser omg I love him 

BODY WISE

Again this depends on how you feel you want to depict him, lanky or fit and muscular, but one thing I’ve noticed and personally headcanon is that Sero has really nice BIG HANDS

(tiny Bakugou’s for comparison and even Kirishima is astounded)

I think it’s just an illusion, but his arms sometimes seem to look a little longer than normal as well, I head canon that anyway too omg

Because Sero’s Quirk doesn’t provide him any physical enhancements, he had to build his body and his stamina on his own. Regardless of lankiness or musculature in his upper body, Sero’s got some serious fucking LEG GAME I tell ya what, I made a whole post about it, everyone’s gotta appreciate those legs please

And of course, everyone’s favorite!! He’s tall!!

I think I got everything! I pretty much just did a character design analysis rather than tips oops, I don’t know how much this’ll help you, sweet anon, but I hope it does, please please please ask me anything else if you’re still having trouble!!

*whispers* I’ve got proof that Sero’s hands are a little larger than normal/disproportionate, even Iida’s a lot thicker than him but his hands are proportioned to his body and don’t even get me started on how tiny Todoroki’s  hands are compared to Sero’s alkdjf

asdjh Sero finds it adorable within 0.5 seconds of Bakugou doing that, it’s just so amusing to watch him be dramatic for attention pff

and yes, some of the other guards consist of the some of the others 1A or 1B, some of the guards are stationed at the perimeter and others patrol the area so they’ll stumble upon Sero watching this weird puffball and carry on because it’s well known that he can handle trouble when it comes

So yes and no?? I think it’s part of the fact that Sero is so well respected and esteemed that other guards and regular passerby’s trust that he’s making the right decision in allowing this stranger to linger. In the beginning of course there’s disapproval, but everyone likely trust Sero’s judgement enough to just let it go with a sigh of “be careful” to which Bakugou would sneer at

And like I said, Bakugou has a problem omg, he’s borderline kleptomaniac, but the more he’s around Sero the easier it is to drop his habits and keep that obsessive compulsion at bay, Sero has all his attention when he’s with him to the point that he’d forget that there’s treasure all around him in this forest until that need to steal is completely gone thanks to Sero’s help

I’d like to think Baku becomes a guard himself after some years, learns to love this forest and treat it as his home because he knows that Sero loves it as well ♥

mmmh, no not really, but thank you for the question, anon! purely decoration, I just like jewelry. But I think maybe if you want it to have some significance, they’re given to guards, made from what the forest provides for everyone, a token for their service, I guess. So Bakugou wouldn’t rightfully receive one until he becomes a guard as well.

Also just cause you mentioned it, hubby helped me find the perfect snake for Sero, that I just recently changed his markings for in my last drawing of him! He’s based off a Piebald Ball Python, they’ve got the colors of his suit, I think they’re just perfect, they’re so pretty too
