In your opinion, what's the hardest part about your long distance relationship? I'm currently living in the same town as my boyfriend, but he plans to move soon, and I need to stay behind to finish school, I just want to know what I should be expecting.
My relationship isn't really -long- distance. I think of it more as "not short enough to be a huge hassle, but long enough to make it difficult at times."
See, Ryan lives about 2 & 1/2 hours from me. Depending on my willingness to speed on the interstate, and whether or not I get stuck in rush traffic, the drive takes me anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.
I share a distance like this with a few other couples that I follow... Jerry and Jay instantly come to mind, along with Keegan and Joeie. Now, I'm not them, and I certainly don't know them well enough to speak for them, so you might want to talk to them, too, and get their stories, too.
Personally, for me, the hardest part is not to worry.
I'm a strong person 95% of the time.
The other 5% is me fretting over things both little and big.
Ryan is just far enough away for the basic worries to kick in.
Not to mention the fact that, while Ryan and I have been talking heavily for 3 months, we've been -dating- for a little over 3 weeks, so it's still kind of new.
My current worries that concern Ryan are:
Am I taking time away from him studying for school.
Along with a couple other, more personal things that I have indeed shared with Ryan.
Not being able to just relax about the whole deal. And that's not really a fault of the long distance relationship, that's a personal struggle.
I'd really like you to come off anon and talk to me about this, I'd love to speak to you privately about it.
