Gently, as to not tear, I peel my dreams from the Delta-moist rug and step out onto the patio where our makeshift clothesline is positioned from Hurricane Laura: three ties, on the broken fence, a patio post, and the shed near where trim used to be. The sun beams its scorching rays directly into my eyes, blinding me as I pin my dreams onto the tight threaded rope. After #HurricaneLaura, my #creative spirit returned to a project I had started about a year ago. First night, I wrote about 5k. I had re-imagined it to be a small digital workbook based on my fave quote and how I had applied it to my life post-HL. After letting my best friend read it, she told me that it needed to be a full book and an audiobook first. That night, I wrote another 10k. Then #HurricaneDelta. God had me emailing, texting, and audio note-taking new content and ideas to myself.
