BREATHE, HAPPY 4/20, BABY. We gotta take a breather this week cos that was a lot. Gotta celebrate our 27th month together as we were supposed to be in Boracay this time around but that didn’t pursue cos of MECQ and wouldn’t have pursued cos of my brother’s passing. When this photo was taken, we had a few days before going to Pampanga where we got to meet up with MJ and my dad for dinner. Now, as this photo gets posted, he is now gone. Time really is precious and as what my dad mentioned in his eulogy: “Yung mga mahal niyo sa buhay — yakapin niyo, spend time with them, tell them you love them so you won’t have regrets when they’re gone.” So, cheers to more beautiful years the Lord will give us to live and be together. It doesn’t mean life is always celebrations and parties cos there are hardships along the way. Pretty pictures aren’t a distinguishing factor to determine that two people are the happiest all the time and everyone should totes be jealous but with communication and compromise, it can work out. Life hasn’t been easy for either of us as individuals, moreso as a couple but we are grateful that we got to enjoy little breaks during this pandemique with family and friends along the way. Make sure to check on one another during these trying times cos we may have been getting complacent and have been unaware of the feelings of our partners (and the people around you). Try to find a resolve, one day at a time, see where it goes. Being honest with each other, keeping thangs private; and acknowledging your issues is key to healthier connections. BEACH BOYS. Jetski time with Hubby where he was screaming cos of my incredible spatial awareness that got us stuck amongst piles of seaweed and nasty rocks that bruised me up a bit but we be trying again another day cos these water activities are so much fun like whoa. He had to go back to the house cos he had classes. Love spending time with this guy and we truly missed roaming about and doing these adventures here, there and everywhere. Always grateful that we get to have these little escapes before we go back to reality and start working our butts off again. Thank you for treating us well, Punta Fuego. RAISE YOUR FLAG. Beaching around with these cuteys. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to chill out due to the pandemique and I’m not a fan of the sun and sand but family time is important and I’m glad we got to do this despite such hectic schedules. Always have to point out that my fam is really strict when we’re in a group and we get COVID tests before merging together so please still make precautions when traveling wherever that may be so that your health and everyone else’s isn’t compromised.
