Zhu-shi the half mogu-pandaren Horde rogue. I highly recommend commissioning @ Avaltor05 on Twitter who is also having a flash sketch sale for a few more days. I can't thank you enough for this! He looks perfect! Watching the process on stream was a treat.

Zhu-shi is up on the same level as Dylan as far as my favorite OCs and I definitely will be doing more with him.

Are Dylan and Zhu-shi the same type of rogue? For example Sub rogue? So do they train their skills together? Or are they different types of rogues?

This is a good question. I consider both Dylan and Zhu-shi to be ambidextrous in terms of the type of spec they are. Dylan who mostly trained in Combat(Outlaw) and Sin with his teacher in Gilneas and then recently Sub with the Shado-Pan. For Zhu-shi he is mostly Sub because he has some shadow magic from his Donaki mogu heritage, but learned a lot about other ways of fighting from his father and watching other Pandaren.

They don't train together really because Dylan is Alliance and Zhu-shi is Horde. They have fought each other a few times during BFA. However as of Shadowlands they are sorta working together.

It's unusual to see a mogu and pandaren hybrid. How does he live this dual identity? Is it hard for him?

The hybrid thinks for a time and sighs. "I didn't have the best childhood growing up in Panderia. I was viewed as a freak I guess my appearance can be a bit unsettling to some."

With a hint of anger in his voice he says "I grew resentful and hated a lot of people mostly those who casted judgement before knowing anything. The mogu hated me and thought of me as an abomination that needed to be purged."

As quickly as the anger came it left and was replaced with a softer voice. "My father was a mogu and the kindest man I knew he loved me with every fiber of his being. Not all mogu are bad. He and my mother's love is what eventually cleared all that hatred from my heart. That being said I am what I am a mogu-pandaren hybrid I am proud of my mogu heritage and my panderen heritage so living as I am isn't hard for me."

In a bit more context Zhu-shi's life as a hybrid got better after the Alliance and Horde came to Panderia. One of the reasons he became a rogue was so he could blend into the shadows because for a time he felt ashamed his mogu features. As things are now he has respect and friends that support him.

Zhu-shi Character Study

Full reveal of my Horde rogue Zhu-shi who is a half Pandaren-Mogu. Art done by my wonderful friend @/ArtTallent on Twitter. While he is proud of his Mogu heritage he does try his best to hide some of those features from other just because it can be a bit unnerving to some. He has a mix of Panderen fur and a bit of stone-like skin from his mogu half.

Got the Halo back piece for Zhu-shi the Horde half mogu-pandaren rogue. I hate that these are covenant locked, but I have a good idea for a transmog.

Warcraft Wednesday Headcanons Pandaria edition

While in-game the mogu models look all the same regardless of clan in my headcanon all the different mogu clans have very different face, hair and other features.(which is why Zhu-shi has the facial features he does)

There are those in Panderia that worship or use the powers of the Sha.(Before the Alliance and Horde conflict)

Not all male Panderen have the big belly they usually have(This is also confirmed in the novel Warcrimes). In addition most of a Panderen's muscular structure is hidden beneath their fur.

The Sha for me played a bigger role during the Mist of Panderia arc of World of Warcraft
