@paintedrhino
The dark, foreboding temple loomed ominously over his head as he dismounted from his horse, sheets of rain pounding against the leather of his armor and clinking off his helmet.
It was a terrible day to be out, much less going to the place he was going, but bad days brought bad feelings and it was the only place he felt vaguely comfortable at the moment.
Eyes narrowed and a frown on under the mask, the knight finished tying his horse up outside. A weight made its home on his shoulders, slumping, and he trudged in, water dripping off his armor and leaving a wet trail behind him, stepping through the archway into the heavy atmosphere within the temple.
It was quiet; so unnervingly silent it almost hurt, but he could hear the quiet crackling of fire on the pedestals as he drew closer, peering curiously at the alter before he finally let himself sit down on a pew, hands in his lap.
Feeling alone, the man sighed and raised his hands, slowly grasping the edge of his helmet and making to pull it off, unaware of the presence looming in the shadows behind the alter.
@legatia
It was a dreary summer day; the sky clouded and drizzling warm rain over the city. Perhaps not the best day to venture out of his home, but the knight had made his trek all the way to the Sanctuary, taking solace in the solitude and gentle patter of the rain on the ground.
His armor kept most of the rain off anyway.
The streets were fairly empty, more than likely due to the weather driving people in, but he didn’t mind. The tavern still seemed lively; he thought he could stop back through and grab a drink before he headed out.
But he made his way down the path toward the cemetery, a place he had been visiting for quite a while. Not because a relative or friend was buried there, lord knows those graves hadn't been disturbed in a very long time, but because he found it comforting and peaceful.
And he was going to see a specific grave.
Approaching the tomb marked by the stone cross upon the top, he frowned slightly, peering down at it in silence. He hadn’t known the man. The infamous knight of the gods had died a long time ago, long before he was born, but he still felt like on some level he knew him.
The knight stood there for a long moment before heaving a sigh and going to sit on the bench across the pathway, letting his shoulders slump down as more rain hit the metal of his armor.
Pandora no Aura no
FMK: Gwenog, Pandora, Emma
Ah, uh…
Fuck: Gwenog. although…well, she scares me a bit. She’s so powerful and I feel like, if this ever gets back to her, she might hurt me, so please don’t lead her into thinking this was meant with any ill-will?
Marry: Pandora, because she’s eerily captivating and I don’t think I’d actually mind getting to know more of her, um, odd fascinations.
Kill: Emma, but only for the sole reason that I’d probably get to become Slytherin Team Captain.
"My child, my sweet child... It will hurt less as I adapt, I promise. Take care, my darling. You will not suffer in vain."
Shivered. “Hurts. Hurts a lot,” she said, quietly. Could still feel the phantom pain flickering beneath her skin, but… She’d be okay. Pandora said so. “Dead things need to – to stay away… Thank you...”
Oh, dearest child, I'm a part of you, you see? Don't try tearing me away, because ʏ ᴏ ᴜ belong to ᴍ ᴇ -- -- and I am here to s ᴛ ᴀ ʏ.
