HAPPY HUNGER GAMES, LURKERS ! . . . the arena that is our discord server is still a work in progress, but i've gone ahead and posted our link on the pinned post for anyone volunteering for their space in our reaping. the tumblr will be used as a general means of updates but for information about the server, i suggest joining it ! since we're aiming to be a collaborative group vs. something run by one admin, i'm not going to "admin" this blog and like i would for a normal public server. which omg, i'm super excited for this group; the idea of an open multimuse for panem entices me sooo bad as somebody who only ever did hunger games rps back in the day, and i'm hoping this can be a collaborative & fun adventure for all of us ! i am going to slink off to work on the rest of the server before i tuck in for the night, but i hope to see you guys here ! with the third quarter quell soon upon us, the residents of panem have one mutual prayer: please, let the odds be in our favor. but what's a quarter quell without a twist? that's not good tv.
this year? the capitol intends to spare no expense. as a reminder that even those who have evaded punishment are servants of the capitol:
the reaping pool will be pulled exclusively from the adults of panem, rather than the children.
all previous victors too, are mandated to return to the capitol with this quell, to participate in the reaping pool the threat of arrest looming overhead if any chose to stay behind in their home district.
but the capitol, and our fearless president, are nothing if not benevolent. as a reminder of the capitol's kindness, generosity, and infinite capacity to forgive, each district would be gifted two additional mentors, in place of any victors reaped. with the support of these, your escorts, and the stylist teams, how could the odds not be in your favour?

a plot-driven story, with a mix of both low-stakes and high stakes events and plot drops
a 6 character cap with no waiting period between your first 4 apps
a fill-in-the-blanks app, with no post length or bio requirements

Does Ava have a Panem verse?
She does! I just haven't written it yet because busy bee. If anyone from the Hunger Games Indies want to take a stab at her, Ava Jean is from District 4. Pre-Catching Fire, she can be a victor or a tribute. Post-CF, she will more than likely be of the rebellion and a prior victor.

Everybody in the rest of the country believed that there was no civilization in this District as humanity was completely destroyed in the Dark Days, but of course, they thought wrong.
